"We stayed two nights in a cottage with lagoon view and really appreciated the space to hang out as a family of 4. Nice fire in the cottage. Close to Kynsna and ti dramatic views at Brenton. We ate 3x at The Bell: good value and cosy atmosphere. But it was the staff that made it - universally friendly and helpful. We had a minor issue with something going wrong (it happens) but Sue went out of her way to fix it. The breakfasts were particularly good."

"We brought my in-laws down from Gauteng for a few days Belvidere Manor, and absolutely loved our stay. The cottages were very comfortable, well-equipped and clean and the grounds were stunning. We ate twice at the Bell Tavern and once at Carolines and the food and drink was excellent. Of course Jeffrey was the high point of the staff experience but absolutely everyone was helpful, friendly and willing. It was a little piece of paradise."
